Safety Procedures

The Alhambra Unified School District, in its ongoing concern for student safety, wishes to inform you of our procedures should an unforeseen emergency situation occur while students are in school. Should the emergency situation cause the school buildings to become unsafe, students will be kept at a safe location on school grounds. Should the emergency situation take place proximate to the school, but outside of school grounds, students will be kept in class until dismissal time. The principal, however may determine that it is unsafe to dismiss students at the usual time in which case students will be kept at school until conditions are safe.

You will be contacted via our Parent Connect Ed. system to be notified of emergency situations. Please make every effort to keep your phone numbers updated in our system. You can do this by contacting the Guidance Office.
