Principal's Message

Greetings Aztecs!

Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year. My name is Jeannie Gutierrez and I am honored and privileged to serve as the Principal of Mark Keppel High School (MKHS). I have spent over 20 years in public education as a teacher and administrator. Most recently, I was an Assistant Principal for eight years at San Gabriel High School. I am looking forward to building new relationships with staff, students, families, and community members here at MKHS as we work together for the success of all students.

As with any school year, we have a number of personnel changes. On the administration team, we have two new Assistant Principals in Student Employee Welfare: Florence Goh and Jessica Castillo. Florence Goh has been an employee in AUSD for over 20 years as a teacher and administrator. Jessica Castillo has been a teacher, Special Education Department Chair, and BTSA Support Provider for over 13 years in the district. Please join me in welcoming them both to MKHS.

I look forward to working with you to make this a productive, memorable, and amazing year. Go Aztecs!

Jeannie Gutierrez
