Congratulations to: Shane Purkiss (Teacher & Coach at SGHS) and Robert Guerrero (Plant Foreman at MKHS), who are our current Game Changers! Both will be celebrated at the January 10th Board of Education meeting and will each receive $100, courtesy of Schools First Federal Credit Union. Career Technical Education Parent Night
Registration for next school year is coming up! Learn about the Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs offered at our high schools. Learn how students can earn a CTE Completer Cord that they can wear with honor at their graduation ceremony. Students will learn about the different CTE pathways and related opportunities and internships available.

Juniors- Cal Grant Opt-Out
In order to be considered for a Cal Grant, California public high schools and charter schools are required to submit a high school Grade Point Average (GPA) to the California Student Aid Commission by October 1 for all graduating seniors, unless the student or parent has opted out.
New Board Members - Swearing-In Ceremonty
On Tuesday, December 13th at 4:30pm, Assemblymember #MikeFong. who will administer the Oaths of Office to re-elected Board Member Bob Gin and newly-elected Board Member Fred Chang. Friends, family, staff, and the public are welcome to join us at for this in-person ceremony in the AUSD Board Room.
