Our three comprehensive high schools (AHS, MKHS, and SGHS) will hold their graduation ceremonies at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Each senior is limited to four guest tickets, so we are grateful to the Rose Bowl for livestreaming each school's ceremony. Final AUSD Vaccination Clinic

AUSD has one more COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled on June 1st at San Gabriel High School. CLICK ON THE HEADLINE TO access a flyer with the information. Passwords were emailed to all AUSD families. If you did not receive one and would like to make an appointment, contact the school to get the password.

Student ID Pick-Up

We will be distributing 9th, 10th and 11th grade student ID’s on 5/13 and 5/14. If you haven’t pick-up your ID through in-person learning or AP testing, you are invited to come to pick up your ID on 5/13 and 5/14 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Please refer to the chart below for the specific date, time and procedural instructions.

Graduation Yard Sign, Cords/Stoles Pick-up

We have scheduled 5/20 and 5/21 for Graduation Yard Sign and Cords/Stoles pick-up. Please click on the link above for additional details. It’s important that you come at your assigned appointment to avoid wait time. ONLY SHOW-UP if you did not come to the Senior Decision Day on April 30th.


We are proud to announce our spring show for this year is an original piece called WE’RE STILL HERE. The show was written by the Honors Theatre and Advanced Drama Students. It is a collection of thoughts, scenes, monologues, and images of their life experiences over the last 14 months living during a major pandemic. In addition, sprinkled throughout the show are comments from some of our MKHS faculty. The writing touches on issues of loss, isolation, racism, and renewed hope among other things. Once again, the tech theatre students, led by Tim Gillette, have done all the editing and special effects.

The show is only about 60 minutes and will be streaming May 14-23. We hope you have a chance to view the show. Attached is the flyer with information about tickets.

AUSD Grading Resolution

The Board of Education has adopted an official grading resolution for the 2020-21 school year.

We know the changes to the Bus Stop distribution has been challenging for some of our families. We have made an adjustment, that we hope will help!

Beginning next WEDNESDAY, April 21st, we will resume SIX bus stop locations once a week. HOWEVER, they will serve a large box (5 breakfasts and 5 lunches), along with a whole pizza for suppers (similar to the box we distribute before a long break).

Current meal service (with the one bus/truck stop) will still occur on Monday, April 19th. Beginning Wednesday, April 21st, our new once/week bus distribution will begin. This will NOT effect regular meal service on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays (12:00pm-1:00pm) at our school sites.
