Foothill unity center will be hosting their annual Back to School Event at the Santa Anita Racetrack on Wednesday July 29, 2026. They will be providing students K through college essential supplies including backpacks filled with school supplies, clothing, haircuts, manicures, community resources and much more.
They are still accepting applications, however registration must be done by Tuesday July 21, 2026. For more information on how to register, please contact Foothill Unity Center, or click on the links below.

In order for students to pick up their High School Diploma, they must:
- meet all academic requirements to be awarded a diploma.
- return all school/district property
- clear any outstanding debt associated with lost or damaged school/district property
- (if applicable) return rented graduation gown to the Office of Business and Activities.

Monterey Park's Safe Routes to School Plan an will identify
ways to make walking, biking, and rolling to and around
school easier and safer for students. Using field research,
data analysis, and input from you, the City is developing the plan
as part of Vision Zero, a greater initiative to improve street
safety and accessibility in Monterey Park for everyone.
