Course Description
Prerequisite: None
The course is designed to introduce the art of the actor through performance. Through various processes, each student will discover what is encompassed in the history of drama and the dramatic profession. Through vocabulary building, reading scripts, writing short essays and journals, acting and lecture, students will have a beginning understanding of the history of drama and the process of acting. Students are required to attend outside theatre performances, work on a theatre production and complete two group or independent projects.
