Services Offered at the College & Career Center (CCC):
During the school year the CCC coordinates College and Career presentations in an informational setting. Students have the opportunity to speak with College representatives as well as people in a variety of occupations and professions.
College & Career Readiness Information
The CCC guides students through college & career exploration and the college application process. We provide information about types of colleges, college majors, financial aid, SAT/ACT tests, personal statements, and many other topics. We can help with resume writing, college essays, interview skills and much more. Access our college catalogs, login to Career Cruising, or use our computers to research online anytime!
Scholarship Bulletin & Other Financial Aid Resources
Did you know students can start applying for scholarships way before senior year? The Scholarship Bulletin is the BEST place to the search for scholarships. The bulletin is available at the CCC, the student bulletin or online at the CCC website. We update the bulletin at least 2x a week and provide other financial aid assistance.
Career Guidance Information
The CCC has a complete career library with written information, and computer software programs to help students answer career/college questions. This available resource can help our students explore their future and potential.
Career Technical Education (CTE) and Dual Enrollment Classes
CTE classes are offered during the regular class day and after school. Students learn job specific skills and may receive a certificate of completion and graduation credits upon successful completion of the class. Dual enrollment classes are college-level courses that allow students to earn high school and college credit for free while still in high school.
Part-Time Jobs and Internships
The CCC maintains a list of job offerings and internship opportunities in the community and provides a referral service.
All students, who are under the age of 18, and has a job, must come get a work permit.
