This is a regular Algebra II course. Students will learn many new topics and ideas. Second semester is usually considered harder than first semester so please encourage your child to learn how to study so he/she will be successful in this class.
I’m available during lunch, a little before school and after school on Thursdays, if your child needs some extra tutoring. We also have Math Club tutoring available for free to everyone during lunch and after school according to the schedule posted in the classroom. Please encourage your child to attend whenever help is needed.
Our textbook is available on-line at Classzone.com with the code #2551205-620. There are also some tutorials and math games at that website, to encourage learning.
Please check your child’s grade on-line regularly. The grades are usually posted the day after a test or quiz has been taken. Please communicate all problems by email or through your child’s counselor.
