Per. 3: Mixed Chorus/Concert Choir

These sections are open to enrollment.  Fundamentals of music, voice, music history, and performance are explored.  Students are asked to attend a choreography session one evening per week.

This group does not perform as much as the Advanced Choir, but is still expected to perform at concerts, festivals, and Festival of Learning.

The Mixed/Concert choir hosts and operates the Playdays Show Choir and Jazz Festivals in May, in a spirit of public service.  This event is co-sponsored by the City of Monterey Park.

Grading is based on class effort, attendance, and knowledge of music fundamentals.
