1. On your notebook, copy vocabulary for Lesson 1.1( P.1of your book) onto your notebook. (scan and turn in ).
2. Practice reading the vocabulary and text with the recording.
3.Print out the character paper and trace the order of strokes. On the other page, write the complete character 11 times and pinyin 11 times, one character per box. (scan and turn in)
If you don't have a printer at home, you can do it on a lined paper, but you need to draw vertical lines like the character paper, and one line for pinyin and one line for characters. Copy everything for the strokes.
4. Practice counting numbers 1-100 and be able to count and say numbers at the next class.
5. Continue to practice pinyin word.
6. Scan all the written work and turn in all the work in one file as PDF file.

Please put your name on the document if you already have a Chinese name.
You can ask you parents or grandparents if you don't have one . They may already have one for you.
You can also research and find one for yourself.
Ask me for help if you still can't get a name for yourself.

If you don't have a printer, you can do it on your note book. But you need to draw lines like the paper and practice as many times as the paper has.

On the 1st page, trace the strokes on the top portion , and write the strokes on the bottom boxes until you fill all the boxes.

Be able to pronounce the sound when I show you a Pinyin card and you can show the Pinyin when I say the sound. I will check this on Thursday/Friday.
For the students who have never learned Pinyin, it is recommended to make flashcards to practice.
