Hi Fam,
We have reached the end of the school year and we made it under these interesting times. I want you and your group to wrap up this community inquiry project and just put all the information you've gathered together.
Some of you have mentioned that you cannot get ahold of some organizations and that's okay. Write what you would've done with the organization if you could work with them and focus the majority of your paper on the facts of the issue you selected and solutions that are available. It's unfortunate that we couldn't really work on the project like we were supposed to, but do your best in presenting what you found during the research time in class and whatever else you found.
This is due May 28th by 5pm turned in here on a google doc.
If you have any questions about anything email me.

Hi everyone,
As I spoke to you all last week, please work on coming up with the questions you want to ask organizations you'll be reaching out to and then actually reach out to them via phone call or email. Submit the questions so I can take a look at them.
Also same as other weeks, Monday and Wednesday work collaboratively with your classmates if you have the opportunity to do so.
Have a good week, we're almost done!

Okay family,
Heres what I want you all to do this week for your project. You will begin to work on practice interviews, analyzing qualitative and quantitative information and defining what will make your project a success.
Interviews:
-Go over interview PP slides. Read tips for proper and successful interviewing skills.
-Go over PBS interview skills sheet. Thoroughly read how to be prepared for an interview. With your team pick one of the many case study scenarios and practice interviewing and being interviewed. (Do this over the phone or video chat). Make sure you understand all of the steps you must take when interviewing someone. You will use this when interviewing people or organizations that work within the community you want to help.
Data:
-In 1 google doc as a team, define what quantitative data and qualitative data are. What is the difference and give examples.
-In the same doc, think about the body of the letter you wrote last week. In the body you had to describe what your end goal would be for this project. What does success look like for you and your team? How will this look? How could it impact the community you're working in? Think of concrete examples for this and tel me about it.
All work is due Friday the 17th at 7pm.

Hi Fam,
As we continue to work on the Community Inquiry Project, I want to meet this week with all the groups. I have also attached the link to your work for the week. In the comments section here write a time your group can meet with me over zoom between Wednesday and Friday anytime between 10am-2pm. The meetings should last no more than 20 min. Write the names of people in your group and the date and time you pick. Make sure you look at other groups so you don't pick the same time slot. All work is due by Friday at 7pm.

Good morning everyone!
For our online learning we will continue to work on our community project. As I've mentioned before, you will NOT being doing any community service. This project will be done from your home and when you need to collaborate with your group, you should do so thorough video chat (FaceTime, zoom, IG or whatever other platform you want to use).
You will also continue to have Think Tanks as needed. This means that if you have the same class with someone, you should video chat with them if you all want to work together and collaborate. I will be doing a weekly video for you all to keep the momentum going.
For this week, I want you to watch the video I have linked and then go back and answer the questions for CRAAP with every one of your sources. I suggest you all split the work. I do want you to create 1 google doc per group, that you will submit on here, which has the notes on all your sources using CRAAP. Tomorrow you will have Think Tanks so use that time to collaborate with each other if you feel the need.
Your notes for the sources will be due by Saturday March 28th at 5pm. Submit on here.
