2. Do a basting stitch around the edge. Then, do a running stitch on the inside of the basting stitch. Do a backstitch on the inside of the running stitch. Lastly, fold your fabric in half and press. Then do an overcast stich along the edge on one side.

Choose one designer from the most recent fashion week to analyze his/her designs. Copy & paste a picture of at least 2 different designs to analyze. Identify the type of element or principle and use an arrow to point to the element or principle. Then you will identify the garment style, the type of fabric (if it’s woven, then identify the type of weave), the source of fiber (also identify if it's natural or manufactured), and the care instructions. All 3 garments cannot have the same information.
