We all know everything you eat and drink matters, but what are the daily recommended amounts for each food group? Using the My Plate Plan site, your individual plan will be created for you. For this assignment you will:
1) Visit: https://www.choosemyplate.gov/resources/MyPlatePlan
2) Using the My Plater Calculator, enter your age, gender, weight, height and physical activity levels
3) Once your individual MyPlate Plan has been created, you will use that information design your MyPlate Slide with the recommended daily servings of each food group.
4) For Your Slide you must:
- Label each food group in each plate sections
- Include the recommended daily servings of each food group w/ a written description & images of those foods.
- You must also include a written description of the amount of each food item. (ex.1 oz carrots, 1 cup lentils; this can be done in the speaker notes)
- You must have 3 different food sources from each food group.
