EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENT (Topic due)
Goal: Make an ornament to decorate Bhakta’s tree and change it into a Xmath Tree
Type of assignment: Extra Credit. Max 5 points to be added (as percent) to any one of your test scores.
REQUIREMENTS
(one point for each of the requirements A,B,C D and E that your ornament satisfies)
- A) The ornament must not exceed one-sixth of a 11x8.5 paper and it must have a hole and a piece of string to hang it. Your name must be on the ornament.
- B) Choose any letter in your first name and a topic in your calculus/statistics class that starts with that letter. The letter and the name of the topic must be on one side of the ornament.
- C) Produce an example that illustrates the topic you chose. The example must be on the other side of the ornament.
- D) The ornament (and everything on it, from your name to the example) must be pretty (as measured solely by the taste of Ms. Bhakta and Mr. Gualcherani)
- E) The topic is original (no other person chose your topic)
IMPORTANT: If you clearly did not attempt to satisfy any one of the previous conditions (except E) your ornament will not receive any points. (If your topic is not original you can still receive up to 4 points). This being said, attempting to satisfy a requirement does not guarantee that you will receive points for it.
