URGENT NOTICE!
Any student who has parked their bike on the new bike racks located in West Gate Quad should move it immediately! Construction will be working in the area and it will be off limits until further notice. In the mean time, the former bike area is open and has plenty of space for all bicycles. --Mr. Douglas , A.P. Attention Freshmen! Freshmen Council sign ups and campaigning are going on now and end Friday. If you are interested in becoming an officer in your freshmen council go to the student bank to sign up and pick up your application. --ASB


The Library will be closed all day on Monday 9/13 and Tuesday 9/14. We will reopen on Wednesday and will be open from 7:15-3:00 including student lunch. --Mrs. Vernon, Librarian

Official PSAT
The official PSAT will take place on the morning of Saturday, October 16th, at MKHS.
-- It is important for 11th graders to take this test to qualify for National Merit, scholarships, and other recognition.
--10th graders are encouraged to take this test as practice for the SAT. You will receive valuable feedback on your strengths and weaknesses to help you study or practice, as well as see how you compare to others applying to college.
-- Please sign up in the Student Bank. There are limited spaces. The cost is: $20.

Attention Students:
All electronic devices are to remain turned off and out of site between the hours of 7:41am and 2:37 pm. Students whose classes end before 6th period are not permitted to use electronic devices until they have exited the campus. Tri-M National Music Honor Society
Today, Tuesday, at lunch is our first meeting of the year. If you have been enrolled in a music class at Mark Keppel for one year, you may be eligible for membership. Last year Tri-M re-established our lunchtime Coffeehouse for performances by Mark Keppel students. Come see what our project will be this year and review nominations for officers. Meet in C-113. The Math Team is looking for students that are interested in Mathematics and would like to represent Mark Keppel in competitions. If you missed our first meeting, we will be having another meeting this Thursday during lunchtime in Rm A148. Come and find out how to join. Everyone is welcome no matter what is your ability level. Students that still have not turned in your applications, please complete them and bring them this Thursday. Our first competition will be on October 2. --Ms. Leon
