Teaching Philosophy Students are expected to take responsibility for themselves, their craft, and any positive or negative consequences for action or inaction. Students are to show integrity in dealing with themselves, their group, their classes, and society at large. Good citizenship is constantly stressed. Students are asked to persist in any and all endeavors, taking these endeavors to a full conclusion. Homework Music requires daily private practice. If the piano students have any keyboard instrument at home, each ought to practice on the weekend and holidays. Vocal students should be practicing their words, notes, and choreography at least 5 minutes per day at home. Participation Performing groups perform. Students involved in such must participate in all performances, as is appropos of a quality organization and good team spirit.
